Driving the Next Stage of Green Finance: India-UK Dialogue 2018

Climate Bonds Initiative in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the City of London's Green Finance Initiative (GFI) with the support of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) would like to welcome you to celebrate developments across policy and industry initiatives to date, and to kick off the next phase of the India-UK Green Finance Collaboration following the successful first roundtable on Scaling up Green Finance through India-UK Partnership in March 2018 in New Delhi.

10:00 AM - 01:00 PM BST (followed by lunch)

02:00 PM - 04:00 PM BST (followed by refreshments)

In recent years, India has advanced the green/sustainable finance agenda through market led efforts as well as regulatory and policy initiatives. Indian Green Bonds Council - a joint FICCI & Climate Bonds Initiative - is furthering these actions and emerging as an effective policy-market bridge.

The collaboration will focus on scaling up domestic and international capital flows for green finance in India. We would like to invite you to contribute to the discussion that will cover priority measures needed to drive the market led and policy supported initiatives under the proposed partnership.

India’s ambitious plans for transition to renewable energy by 2022, modernising urbanisation, transport, infrastructure and agriculture are creating significant investment opportunities. The event will also give an opportunity to investors to understand these goals, the policy measures being pursued to support them, and investment opportunities becoming available.

Join Indian financial institutions, developers and institutional investors, think tanks and market actors in London on 16th July 2018 at the Willis Building, Willis Towers Watson London's Head Office.

Further details on the agenda and speakers/panellists will follow on this website.
